8. August – Continue with the breeding regiment
Be sure to keep all the nutrients, supplements, hatchling food and nesting materials abundant in the aviary at all times. Continue to keep a good pile of spray millet and the Japanese millet, flax and hemp seed available in addition to our daily Gouldian mixed seeds in all the breeding cages at all times.
Clean out and replace the nesting materials and poultry dust in any nest boxes not being used. Band your babies accordingly as they leave the nest, etc…
